Screens are used for many purposes, from protecting a valuable pump to filtering out large solid particles. When a new part of a piping system is build, it often happens that metal parts fall inside the piping. When the fist water is pumped through the system it will most likely end up in your pump, and this will destroy your pump.
We also leard that they can be used for open outlets at loading docks, to prevent bugs to walk in freely. |
