The DIN11864 is a relatively new fitting for the pharmaceutical processing market. This fitting is gaining interest from process engineers because the seal inside is better to control. The fitting has a compression limiter build in so intrusion of the gasket material inside the pipe is reduced to the absolute minimum.

The DIN11864 is available in 3 versions:


11864-1 has a screwed connection
11864-2 has a flange connection
11864-3 has a clamp connection

All of these use the same O-ring type gasket.
