Rubberfab manufacturers the finest screens available for hygienic applications. They are designed to fit ASME BPE standard clamp ferrules. They are available from Mini ˝” through 6”. It is important not to confuse sieving with filtration. In sieving there is only a single layer of medium where size separation occurs purely by the fact that the fraction of the particulate solid matter which is too large to be able to pass through the holes of the sieve, scientifically called oversize are retained.
Flat screens as displayed above have limited capacity to filter out large amounts of contaminants, they will eventually block the flow.
To allow for greater capacities and longer service life we are now offering Sock –Screens with finer mesh sizes, 20 mesh through 325 mesh sintered.
